Rotten teeth are not only unsightly, it has now been established that poor oral health leads to disease of the brain and heart and, if left untreated even death. Unfortunately the problem appears to be growing, mainly due to the fact that most people do not have and cannot afford dental health insurance. One can’t help but wonder why, when the teeth are part of the whole body, the care they need is not part of the overall coverage offered by regular health insurance?
